SIX WORDS TO DESCRIBE ISOBELLA» loyal, caring, sincere, competitive, emotional and bossy.
GENERAL PERSONALITY» Isobella, is in one word, emotional. Of course, when you call her that, she'll completely deny it. Even more, she'll be offended by it. But she's actually more emotional than she herself would like to admit. How would she see herself be emotional anyway? Most of the time, she's got a smile on her face, and often times would she be classified as loud and outspoken. But that's what she is. When she's happy, it's very noticeable through her features. Big smile, and a little bit loud and obnoxious if anything.
But when she's mad, or upset, it's also seen in her face and actions. Her hazel eyes will turn into a darker shade and squint as if they're looking for something far away, and often not too soon after you've received that glare, she'll come yelling around some profanities here and there. When she's angry, it's not really unusual for her to say several harsh words. Izabeans, in a good mood, is actually pretty laid-back and easy-going, not really the type you'd expect to utter such venomous words. But when she's off, her target pretty much goes to whoever is in her way. Rather impulsive, to be honest, and careless but that's just one of her main flaws. Izzy's just the type of girl who doesn't possess the self-control as others have.
On a positive note, she's rather very determined. She's an active girl; she likes sports, and loves the outdoors. If anything, she's much more energetic outside than she is indoors. She's just much happier when she's doing something. And rather resents slow and lazy days where she's left with nothing to do. She's a team player, most of the time at least. When out there, in a game, she'd always be the one thinking what's the best for the team. Okay, to be honest it's really rather: what would make us—me—win? But then again, one of her philosophy is that you should always put yourself first, then others second. Who could take better care of you rather than yourself, right?
One of her determining traits would be her competitiveness. She's fierce with that, and loves a good challenge or a game every once in a while. There's just something about victory that this girl can't get enough of. May it be in small things, or big tournaments. It shouldn't be weird then to hear that this sixteen-year old could easily get jealous from time to time. It's just one of the things she doesn't know how to change about herself.

EYE COLOR» hazel
HAIR COLOR» brown-black.
BUILD» small-athletic. 5'2" at 120 lbs.
RACE» Caucasian...err, but heritage speaking, she's American-Italian
GENERAL PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION» Isobella's look isn't necessarily one to be eye-catching or attention-grabbing, for her at least. 'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder' they say, well then, if that is the case, Iz would probably wallow in her own "unprettiness" right now. No, she didn't have a low self-esteem or a bad self-image. It would just be that to her, she looks plain, and normal. Painstakingly average even. With her brown hair and her eyes in the shade of dark hazel, she didn't think she looks too impressive. Talking objectively, however, she has a heart-shaped face framed with her dark straight hair. Isobella's eyes would be described as rather small and hooded and paired with long lashes and a defined set of eye brows. The same eyebrows she felt the most self-conscious about.
Her hair is dark and messy most of the time. You would never spot this girl without her hair in a (usually messy) ponytail. Out of that; her hair would go down to her shoulders and would be wavy (because her hair was used to being constricted). In some terms, you can say her hair is a virgin. It has never been tampered before. Other than the occasional 'scrunchie' or elastic band; nothing really ever touched her head before. No chemicals for hair dyes or rebonding, and no irons for straightening. She's just not that girl. In fact, she quite believes that tampering too much with one thing could destroy it. And have you seen the hair of those multi-colored haired people? They're like straws to her opinion. Completely dead and ruined. If anything, it was just the usual shampoo, conditioner and then let the air dry for her.
Her eyes are hazel, much like her father's. They say that the eyes are the windows of the soul, or something like that, Isobella doesn't really remember, well she must have some small soul because she is very well convinced that she has small eyes. Pretty droopy in her opinion. Nothing eye catching there; her eye color is not even the pretty attention-grabbing shade of hazel. It's just the darker less-noticable one. However, it is her eye brows she is most self-conscious at all. She has strong ones. They are dark and well, bushy. If she doesn't have bangs to cover them up, Izzy thought that she would've probably shaved all of them off and just draw some faint line. Well, that sounded drastic and she wouldn't really do it but she doesn't like it. As much as possible, she would try to get the attention away from her eye brows as possible.
Her build is pretty much athletic. Her body has faint traces of being toned, but not entirely. Since Iz has decided to occasionally skip going to the gym and working out back when she was in her mid-first-high school year. (She figures, that's what the gym class is for, right?) Izzy's skin would be considered fair with a little tan in an olive skin tone. In fact, to add to her physical flaws, you could probably see some tan lines here and there. Spending time in the sun was deemed inevitable for her, she likes being outdoors. However, her facial complexion is pretty much clear. This girl's posture isn't exactly great either. In fact, she has "poor American girl posture" as she could vaguely remember one of her teachers saying back then. She has a habit of slouching, and you know it doesn't really flatter anybody.
A girl with a body like her probably won't stand out from the crowd much, she's not entirely leggy... actually, she's not even leggy at all. She finds one of her most determining physical flaw would be her short legs, as she'd only stand at a not-so-impressive height of five-foot-two. Her stature would be considered athletic, thanks to the sports activities she's been participating in all those years. And her skin, her complexion would be considered slightly tan. Iz doesn't shy away from the sun too much, if you haven't figured that out already. The girl's posture could be a bit better; time and time again, she gets back pains from slouching in her seat, but that's just for her own personal comfort.
CLOTHING STYLE» Nothing stylish, to be honest. Isobella, is proud to be athletic and sporty, so despite her satirizing designer brands and such, she wears stuff like Nike, Adidas and Chuck Taylor's. Mainly because aren't they advertised for practical and athletic use? But moreover, Iz's usual attire (away from the school uniform) would be a pair of comfortable pants (whether it'd be jeans or sweat pants, it varies) and a loose lightweight shirt. There would even be times where some people can definitely label her as a fashion victim. She just doesn't have much of a style, a good one at least. When she goes out, her clothing would just be very comfortable—like shorts, and a shirt, and possibly sneakers. Whether it'd be fashionable or trendy, she doesn't really care much.

HOMETOWN» New Jersey.
PARENTS»
SIBLING/S»
PETS» none.
HISTORY» Isobella grew up in an orphanage. But there's no real tragedy for her there. She was young, and had no memory of her parents when she was put into an orphanage. In fact, she pretty much grew up there. And nope, she hadn't grown up wondering who her parents are, to be honest. Now, that sounds strange, but with the care of the facilitators of the Saint Augustine Orphanage—not to mention, the company of the other kids there—what more could she really ask for? That's where she had first learned about her love for sports. Basically for being active. As a kid, it was easy to mistake Iz for a boy. She had hung out with the boys a lot then, and other little girls like herself (who are just basically not afraid to soil their clothes, play in the dirt and mud, and fight with the boys from time to time). Not to mention that she had a boy cut when she was a kid. (Her hair attracted sweet pink bubblegum, or that's what she has been told in jest by one of her guy friends. There was no other choice but to cut it, and she was happy with a shorter, less-high-maintenance 'do ever since.)
But little did she know that most of the people, the caretakers, at St. Augustine's Orphanage in Newark, NJ, thought she was a pitiful thing. Her parents had a car crash on their way to the hospital when her mother was going into labor. It was probably in their frantic rush, and her father getting a little frenzied that he didn't see there were in a wrong lane and a car was going to collide with them when he swerved and crashed to a tree. Objectively speaking, they didn't survive, but they manage to get the baby girl to survive with minor complications. Over-all, Isobella turned out normal.
Her childhood days aren't too bad. Actually, it wasn't bad to begin with. She had the kind of childhood that you could find in those movies. A little troublesome rug rat. Her days would be filled with playing, eating, watching tv, and then sleep. It was routinely, but she couldn't really complain. She has no choice anyway. All the time, if she's not at school, she'd be just be playing outside. As a kid, Isobella's the type who either really annoys you or be friends with you. For her, back then everything was black or white. Are you on her side or not? If not, she'll just immediately hate you. So with that belief, you can pretty much guess her popularity back then. She has quite an attitude and wouldn't mind bad mouthing you off from time to time.
That didn't change much, but when she was adopted by her first foster family. You could say she did mellow out a little. When she was about nine, she was adopted by the Forrester's. They were an old but loving couple who's children have all grown up and went on to their own ways. Loneliness, Izzy guessed, was probably the reason why they adopted her. They missed having to take care of somebody as their own. For someone like Iza, that feeling wasn't always going too well for her. She was independent growing up, she didn't like depending on others—even the thought of it. At some point, she thought Adam and Esther (the Forrester's) were too clingy and needy. But they grew on her, spending four years with people like them would do that to you.
Isobella was placed back again at St. Augustine's Orphanage when the Forrester's died. (Of old age, if you were wondering.) It took her about another year or so when the Yorkke's adopted her. Frankly, the thought of being adopted by a wealthy family was great. But when she came and lived with them in Connecticut. It was... weird. The Yorkke's was a mellow family. It wasn't what Isobella was used to. But she dealt with it, she has to, right? After all, this is her new family. One of the many things that irked her about the Yorkke's however would be how controlling their mother is, and how the "kids" (although she shouldn't really call them that, they're probably around her same age, save for the younger girl) act like "total preppy zombies" (her words!) and slaves to their mother-dearest. It didn't even seem like their father was always around. Business trips, if she remembered correctly, that's where he always was. "Yeah, well, I'd like to know what his business is!"[/b]
Isobella didn't really warm up to the whole family much. In fact, the whole reason of why they adopted her was beyond her. They were a socialite elite family. Why would they take in a lowly kid from Jersey anyway? It was definitely weird for the girl. She had heard some rumors that the family adopted her because their image to the media was cold, a cold wealthy family. Iz didn't really hear much more than that, she wasn't really a big fan of gossip anyway. The only time she felt like she connected with the Yorkke's was when she'd go play some ball with their son. He was athletic, and when his mother is not around, he could actually be a pretty cool guy in Isobella's opinion. But besides that, nothing really.
Thankfully enough, she wasn't entitled to spend much more time in the Yorkke's residence since they were sent here, in Cunningham Academy. Where she finds things much more.... weird. Yet, since she's just a "lowly" girl from Jersey, she's a little star struck sometimes, and mesmerized by the things in Cunningham.
SCHOOL HISTORY» She started going here in her freshman year. Not so great time, she pretty much struggled with the classes, and struggled with finding her niche and her friends. Up to now, she has only a few, and most of them would be jocks or jockettes. She really didn't mind though. Solidarity is one of the things she's used with, but then again, she could get lonely from time to time. Her opinion of the whole school, in general, is very... pretentious. Although she wouldn't say that in your face and all. She believes that she has yet to meet a genuine group of people in this school. On the objective side, her grades are in the C+ B- average, she doesn't really participate much. But she aces gym classes. She's even part of a few sports teams.
ANYTHING ELSE» blah, she rocks. =D
